TUCSON, Ariz. – Sylvia Marie (Williams) Nyby, 66, passed away peacefully June 16, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz. She was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Bangor. She is greatly missed by her family: husband, Neil Nyby; her mother, Christine B. Williams; sister, Sandra Williams; daughters and spouses, Deborah and Michael Rusher, Tonya and Michael Flynn, Lisa Anderson, Crystal and Gary Snear, and Michelle Hand; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many, many friends. She is greeted with joy by her father, McKeevor Williams; and daughters, Carmen Anderson and Shannon Anderson, who predeceased her. A joyful woman who loved computer games, collecting movies, reading and her pets, Sylvia most loved her family and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 27, at Mount Hope Cemetery. After that service will be a gathering 2-4 p.m. at The Rock Church, Ohio Street, Bangor.
