HOULTON, OYSTER BAY, LONG ISLAND, N.Y. – Synnove L. Stevens, 95, died Feb. 18, 2005, at Houlton. She was born Nov. 11, 1909, in Flekkfjord, Norway, the daughter of Reinert and Josephine (Jacobson) Larson. She is survived by three children, Irving and his wife, Lillian Stevens of Hauppauge, N.Y., Beverly and her husband, Paul Gray, Joanne and her husband, James Gray, all of Danforth; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and close friends, Iona Nadeau, Gordon and Sherrie Morton. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Monday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Morris Gray, David Furge and Sam Fast officiating. Interment will be in St. John Memorial Cemetery Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, N.Y.
