FRANKFORT – Terrance “Terry” D. Leavitt, 57, died Oct. 31, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1949, in Hartland. He served in the U.S. Army and then worked as a carpenter. Terry enjoyed his family and children, his Harley “fat boy,” visiting with his friends at 5 a.m. at Mobil On-the-Run. He loved to go four-wheeling, fishing and liked taking walks on Mount Waldo. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Robert Leavitt. He is survived by his wife, Nikki Leavitt of Frankfort; his children, Terrance Leavitt II and Michael Leavitt, both of Carmel, Bill James, Dayna James, Dustin “Dust Pan” Palmer, all of Frankfort; two brothers, Richard Leavitt of Dexter and Larry Leavitt of Texas; one sister, Sharon Jernigan of Winterport; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where a funeral service will be held 7 p.m. with Pastor Steve Nute officiating.
