EASTPORT and NAPLES Terry Raye Trott died Aug. 11, 2007, in a boating accident on Long Lake, two days before his 56th birthday. He was born Aug. 13, 1951, in Eastport, the only son of Buddy Trott and Elsie O’Dell Dinsmore Terry was educated in the Eastport schools and graduated from Shead Memorial High School, Class of 1969. He then attended Andover Business College, Portland. In the mid-70s he moved to Massachusetts and took his middle name, Raye. For many years he worked for Nicholas Campanelli of Brockton, Mass. He later moved to Naples, where he worked as a carpenter and played guitar in a local band. Surviving in addition to his mother, is his sister, Dr. Bonnie L. Trott of Exeter, N.H.; one daughter, Charlotte Gillis of Hull, Mass.; two sons, Adam R. Trott of Florence, Mass., and Stephen Lehigh of Angelus Oaks, Calif.; two grandsons, Connor and Quinn Lehigh, also of Angelus Oaks, Calif.; a special cousin, Teddy Trott of Eastport; two lifelong, close friends he considered family, Tessa Ftorek of Robbinston, and Mike Baine of Perry; one uncle, Murray C. O’Dell and his wife, Fran, of Spokane, Wash.; two aunts, Clara Robinson of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Zellah Bishop of Florida; several cousins in Maine, New Hampshire, Washington, and Missouri. Graveside services will be held at a later date at grandparents, Grammie Ella and Alfie’s lot at Hillside Cemetery, Eastport.
