THOMASTON and HERMON Thelma Wilson Everett, 88, died Sept. 30, 2006, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born July 14, 1918, in Tuckahoe, N.J., the daughter of Birchwood and Edna (Concable) Wilson. Thelma was married in 1940 to John Warren Everett. She worked as a clerk at Brackett’s Drug Store, assistant librarian at the Thomaston Public Library and many years at home taking care of her family. She was also a volunteer in cub scouting and a member of the Pythian Sisters. She attended the Federated Church, Thomaston. She is survived by a son, John H. Everett and his partner, Judy; seven grandchildren, John W., John G., Eliza, Sasha, Tristan, Kiel, Sean; one great-grandson, Kent; a sister, Sadie Winner; several nieces, nephews and four special friends. In addition to her husband, Thelma was predeceased by a sister, Edna Godfrey. The family thanks the staff of Maine Veterans’ Home, C Unit, Bangor, for all the special care and understanding. In keeping with her wishes, graveside services at Village Cemetery, Thomaston, will be private. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Disabled American Veterans’, P.O.
