MADAWASKA – Therese Cyr, 77, died May 7, 2005, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born March 16, 1928, in St. Basile, N.B., Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Lagace) Bouchard. She is survived by three daughters, Louise Peter Paul and her husband, Fred, of Presque Isle, Diane Hill and her husband, Steven, of Fort Kent, Janet Cyr of Merrimack, N.H.; four brothers, Ronald, Martin and Real Bouchard, all of Edmundston, N.B., Fernand Bouchard of Beaupeaureharnois, Quebec; two sisters, Rhona Neil of Fredericton, N.B., Thelma Ouellette of Colborne, Ontario; three grandchildren, Christopher and Lindsay Cyr and Melissa Scott; three great-grandchildren, Brooke, Destiny and Ethan Cyr. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roland J. Cyr in 1981; four brothers, Donald, Claude, Hermel and Ino; and by one sister, Rose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. David Church with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of choice or to the Northern Maine Medical Center Cardiac Fund.
