HOULTON – Thomas G. Hafford, 64, died Jan. 9, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Allagash, the son of Samuel and Ida (McKinnon) Hafford. Tom is survived by his wife, Grace (Smith) Hafford of Houlton; one son, Thomas Hafford Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Massachusetts; seven daughters, Laura Hafford of Fort Fairfield, Jeannie McLaughlin and her husband, Mike, of Woodland, Bobbie Fecteau and her husband, Tony, of Solon, Christie Miller of Orlando, Fla., Vicky Dean and her husband, David, of Buckfield, Gail Mahaney and her husband, Bob, of Fort Fairfield, Tony Hanson and her husband, Darren, of Easton; 16 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; five brothers, Donald Hafford of Woodland, Gary Hafford and his wife, Debbie, of Portage, Patrick Hafford and his wife, Sandra, Leverette Hafford and his wife, Barbara, all of Allagash, and George Hafford of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Roy, Albert and Clarence Hafford; and one sister, Beatrice (Hafford) Plourde. Friends may call noon Saturday until the time of the service 1 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home with Pastor David Tuttle officiating. Spring interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
