ELLSWORTH – Timothy James McAlpine, 45, died Oct. 24, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 10, 1961, in Bangor, the son of James H. and Erdine (Moon) McAlpine Jr. Tim drove tractor-trailer truck for years and was also self-employed as a mechanic at his own garage, The Green Wrench. Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Angel; mother, Erdine McAlpine of Ellsworth; son, James McAlpine and his significant other, Becca Robinson, of Cherryfield; stepchildren, Danny Walker and his significant other, Rebecca Rumery, of Prospect Harbor, Tonya Jewett and her husband, Christopher, of Orland, Derek Grant of Gouldsboro and Nicholas Grant of Milbridge; four brothers, Royce and his wife, Carol, of Eastbrook, Wayne and his wife, Betsy, of Ellsworth, Dwayne and his wife, Ellie, of Groveland, Mass., and Bruce and his friend, June, of Ellsworth; special nephew, Jameson McAlpine; two special friends, Robert and Lisa Woods of Sullivan and Walter and Cindy Stevens of Ellsworth; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and two very special dogs, Dobi and Weiner. Tim’s laughter will be missed by his family and many friends. Tim was predeceased by his father, James McAlpine Jr.; and one brother, James A. McAlpine. Friends may visit with the family 3-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions may sent to Angel McAlpine, 152 Christian Ridge Road, Ellsworth, ME 04605, to assist the family with expenses.
