HUDSON – Travis L. Noble Sr., 74, died April 25, 2008, surrounded by loving family and friends. Travis was born Feb. 7, 1934, in Keiser, Ark. Travis was a graduate of University of Maine, Orono. He was a single foster parent to many. He had a love for people and showed it in many ways. He was most proud of being a grandfather. He is survived by two sisters, Patsy Jo and husband, Hugh Hansborough, of Florida and Norma Jean Capps of Virginia; along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend, Sandra Noble; his sons, Travis Noble Jr. and his fiancee, Chrissie Murphy, Brian Noble and his fiancee, Heather Kinsella, Hilmar Noble and his fiancee, Ashlynn Chesney and Paul Andrews and his fiancee, Stephanie Wilson; grandchildren, Jessica, Connor, Jared, Corrie, Auttum and BJ. He will also be greatly missed by his many friends from Hampden, everyone at Branches; and his roommate, Jerry Junior. Travis was predeceased by his parents, James Robert and Frannie Warf Noble; two sisters, Marjorie Mason and Judy Price; and two brothers, Robert and James Noble. He and his stories, especially the ones including Davie and Daniel, will be sadly missed. A celebration of Travis’s life will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, at East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Road, Orrington.
