PITTSFIELD – Trella P. Girroir, 62, died unexpectedly Jan. 14, 2008, at a Bangor hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 23, 1945, in Bangor, a daughter of Russell and Ardis (Gellerson) Joslyn. She married the love of her life, Raymond Girroir, Oct. 29, 1963. She enjoyed reading, yard saling, and spending time with her family. She also had a special love for her dogs. Trella was predeceased by her husband, her parents; her sister, Mary-Jane (Joslyn) Lawson; granddaughter, Megan Girroir; her brother-in-law, Ron Lawson; and sister-in-law, Betty Joslyn. She is survived by two sons, Frank and wife, Terry Girroir, and Shon Girroir, all of Pittsfield; also her former daughter-in-law, Anita Girroir. She left behind five grandchildren, Joshua, Raven, Jessica, Matthew and Raymond; a sister, Elaine and husband, Donald Goss, of Orrington; two brothers, Malcolm Joslyn of Rhode Island, and Donald and wife, Carol Joslyn, of South Carolina; many nieces and nephews, including a very special nephew, Dennis Lawson. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport. Friends may call 2 p.m. until time of services.
