LIMESTONE and CARIBOU – Trevor John Holmquist, 10, died unexpectedly Feb. 28, 2006, at his residence in Limestone. He was born Nov. 20, 1995, at Caribou, the son John W. and Kelley (Harmon) Holmquist. Trevor was a fourth grade honor roll student at Limestone Elementary School. He loved the outdoors and was an avid snowboarder and snowmobiler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his dirt bike and four-wheeler with his brother Shawn. Trevor also loved playing basketball, baseball and his electric guitar. He is survived by his father, John and his wife, Robin; and his brother, Shawn, all of Caribou; his three sisters, Briana, Brittany and Bridget McDougall, all of Caribou; his grandparents, Don and Carolyn Rossignol of Washburn and Pauline and Roy “Jack” Woods of Caribou; his great-grandparents, Leroy Beaulieu of Washburn and Byron and Cecile Harmon of Caribou; his aunt, Sheila Burtt of Wade; and his uncle, Scott Harmon of Caribou; a special friend, Trevor Quist of Limestone. Trevor was predeceased by his mother, Kelley Holmquist; and his grandfather, John Holmquist Sr. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Extension Cemetery Washburn.
