LUBEC – Tristan Allan Mathews passed away July 21, 2008. He was born Sept. 16, 1984, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Tristan was an amazing songwriter, composer and singer. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He enjoyed playing basketball, hockey and video games. Tristan had a passion for fashion and life. Tristan leaves behind his devoted mother, Betsy Massicotte; father, Shawn Mathews; adoring brothers, Samuel, Shayne and Kaleb; stepsister, Selena Fitzsimmons; his favorite uncle, Scott Mathews; paternal grandmother, Jane Mathews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was known by many and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Altantic Standard Time Aug. 2 on Mulholland Point, Campobello Island, Canada. A memorial service will also be held 1 p.m. Aug. 2 at West Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec.
