MILLINOCKET – Vallie E. Robbins, 91, wife of the late Ronald C. “Skip” Robbins, died unexpectedly in Millinocket, Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003. She was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Millinocket, the daughter of Wellington and Ida (Cameron) Bartlett. Mrs. Robbins was a lifelong resident of Millinocket, where she was a member of the First Congregational Church of Millinocket and the Women’s Fellowship. She was also a member of the local AARP and the Plus and Minus Club. Vallie enjoyed playing cards and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, enjoyed going with her friends to Meals for Me. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judith Robbins of Millinocket; two granddaughters, Lorrie Lamphere and special friend, Roland Voisine and Julie Leet and husband, Leonard; two great-granddaughters, Kristin Leet and Jessica Lamphere, all of Millinocket; also many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. The Rev. Norman F. Rust, interim pastor of the First Congregational Church of Millinocket, will officiate.
