BLUE HILL – Virginia G. Hale, 100, died March 31, 2007 in Blue Hill. She was born Nov. 21, 1906, in East Orange, N.J., the daughter of William and Elizabeth Greenfield. Virginia graduated from Albion College in Michigan in 1930. She was a teacher and homemaker. She enjoyed being a world traveler. She lived at various times in Mount Clair, N.J., Sarasota, Fla., Surry and most recently at Parker Ridge, Blue Hill. Locally she was a member of the Blue Hill Country Club and member and former president of the Surry, Garden Club. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, E. Emmet Brocklebank; and her husband, Col. David Hale. Virginia appreciated her caregivers. There will be no funeral service. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may donate to Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.
