ORRINGTON – Virginia M. Somers, 69, died March 21, 2005, at her home in Orrington. She was born June 4, 1935, in Lewiston, the daughter of Forest L. and Florence M. (Moon) Polley. Virginia was a 1935 graduate of Ellsworth High School and had worked as a waitress for the White Elephant Restaurant, Brewer for more than 20 years. She retired from Eastern Maine Medical Center food service department. Surviving are four children, Patti Pringle and her husband, William, of Bangor, Tami Somers of Portland, Robert Somers and Dale Somers of Orrington; four grandchildren, Kate and Marri MacLellan, Chris Pringle and Vanessa Somers; one great-grandchild, Skyla Katherine MacLellan; one sister, Esther Curtis and her husband, Elwin, of Ellsworth; one brother, Gerald Polley and his wife, Linda, of Fargo, N.D.
