WEST ENFIELD – Virginia O. Henderson, 82, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2004, at a Howland healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Old Town, the daughter of James Smith and Ruby (Mudgett) Bubier. She loved to laugh and had a flair for fun, telling jokes and stories. She loved to go to yard sales and read her many books. She will be sadly missed by her family. She leaves behind three daughters, Sylvia Davis and her husband, Carlton, of Chester, Linda McKinnon and her husband, Vaughn, of Enfield, and Ruby Tash of Passadumkeag; a son, Barry Henderson of West Enfield; seven grandchildren, Debbie Gero and her husband, Dennis, of Milo, Scott Washburn and his wife, Debbie, of Brunswick, Joel Washburn and his wife, Julie, of Alaska, Tracy Hazzard of Lincoln, Crystal Tash of Passadumkeag, William “Bub” Tash Jr. of Tennessee, and Dana-Marie Worthing of Florida; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Thompson and her husband, Richard, of Hudson, Betty Trask of Winterport, and Myrtle Herring of Georgia; a brother, Kenneth McNerney and his wife, Teresa, of Hudson. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Henderson; a grandson, Joshua Tash; and a brother, Charlie McNerney. She also leaves behind friends and staff at Cummings Healthcare Facility, who became very important to her. Virginia requested that there be no viewing or funeral.
