WALTER BROWN LUBEC – Walter Brown, 76, passed away Sept. 20, 2005, at a local health-care facility. He was born March 26, 1929, in Lubec, the son of the late Edgar and Delia (Carter) Brown. Walter served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He could disassemble and rebuild just about anything. Walter had an incredible passion for photography. He is survived by four children, daughter, Susan Neven of New Hampshire, daughter, Annette Brown of California, Robert Brown and wife, Julie, of Machiasport, daughter, Mary Morris of Florida; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Alton Brown and wife, Yvonne, of Dover-Foxcroft; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Norton; and stepsister and stepbrother, Verna and Eugene Brown. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 15, 2005, at the Olson Cemetery in Lubec. Arrangements are in the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
