PARKMAN – Wendall K. “Doc” Kimball, 79, died April 12, 2007, at a Dexter health care facility. He was born July 31, 1927, in Cambridge, son of Erald and Alice (Leavitt) Kimball. Wendall served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. After the war, he worked at Guilford Industries for more than 40 years and enjoyed out-door sports, such as hunting and fishing. He was a member of Parkman Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Hildred (Davis) Kimball in 2002. He is survived by a daughter, Karol Curtis of Park-man; two brothers, Phillip “Ping” Kimball of Sangerville and Kelsey Kimball and his wife, Pam, of Arizona; a sister, Melba Cote and her husband, Robert, of Sangerville; a granddaughter, Wendy Mc-Kenney and her husband, Kyle and their children, Derek and Zachary, all of Parkman; a grandson, Troy Curtis and his wife, Jen and their daughter, Bailey, all of Lincolnville; special relatives who helped Wendall during his illness, David and Barbara Thurlow of Parkman. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Parkman Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating. Friends may call 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be later in the spring at Pingree Center Cemetery.
