FORT KENT and ORONO – Wendell “Chuck” Walker went peacefully with the Lord Jan. 18, 2006. He was born March 17, 1942, in Allagash, to Gilbert and Dorothy (Hafford) Walker. He is survived by three daughters, Joy Theriault, Lynn Plourde and Jodie Walker; three sons, Barry Walker, Shawn Lang and Jeremy Halprin; two sisters, Shirley Dumond and Greta Landry; a special friend, Steve Niles, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Merle Walker; and a sister, Mary Boutote. Chuck’s friends are invited to a gathering of rememberance 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Jodie’s house, 682 Ohio St., Ledgewood Apts. 20, Bangor. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Allagash, where Wendell will be laid to rest with his much beloved parents.
