FRENCHVILLE – Wilbrod Morneault, 96, died July 22, 2005, at French-ville. He was born Aug. 30, 1908, the son of Joseph L. and Catherine (Roy) Morneault. He is survived by one son, Philip and his wife, Barbara (Bourgoin) Morneault, of Tolland, Conn. and one daughter, Margaret and her husband, Ray Mahar, of Huntingtown, Md.; two stepsons, Kenneth and Rose Marie (Boucher) Roy of Plano, Texas and Claude and Betty (Pelletier) Roy of Bristol, Conn.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Rosaire of Bridgewater, N.J. and Rudy of Stanley, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Theresa (Nadeau) in August 2002. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Robert, John and Adrian; and by his sister, Priscilla. Wilbrod was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was the oldest member of the Cyr Plourde Post 145 American Legion of Frenchville. Donations should be made to the activities department of the St. Joseph Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 25, by Fr. Phil Cyr, at Ste. Luce Catholic Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville, 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. until time of services. Burial will be in St. Luce Cemetery.
