COLUMBIA FALLS – Wilk “Wilkie” C. Pottle, 64, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 13, 1942, in Bar Harbor, the son of the late Arnold E. Pottle and Vesta L. (Tibbetts) Pottle. Wilk loved fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Susan Jane. He is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Hazelton and husband, Eugene; his ex-wife and caregiver of 10 years, Ellen Berry and her daughters, Stacey Ginn and Jeanette Smith; two brothers, William “Billy” Pottle and wife, Paula, of Steuben and Hank Snow Pottle of Harrington; two sisters, Isabelle Pottle and Elizabeth Pottle of Perry; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mildred Garnett of Beals. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 6 Cooper St., Machias, officiated by Pastor George Woodward.
