CALAIS – William “Beetle” Bailey, 58, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Calais Regional Hospital. Beetle served in the U.S. Army 1st cavalry during Vietnam. He was employed for many years as a painter with Georgia-Pacific. Surviving are his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Bailey; a daughter, Jessica Bailey; his twin sister, Catherine Scullin; three brothers, Paul Spear, Randy, and Danny Bailey; two grandchildren and three nephews.
