BRUNSWICK – William “Bill” F. Powers, 84, of Mere Point Road died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 3 at his home. He was an active member of the Department of Maine American Legion. Surviving is his wife, Edith Skolfield Powers of Brunswick; two daughters; and four grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held noon Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, McKeen Street, Brunswick.
