TERRYVILLE, Conn. – William C. Kennedy, 91, of Quail Hollow Ct., Terryville, Conn., husband of the late Grace (Young) Kennedy, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at Haven Health Center of Farmington. Mr. Kennedy was born Feb. 26, 1912, in Argyle, the son of the late Harry and Annie Jane (Howe) Kennedy. He lived in Bangor most of his life, moving to Terryville, Conn., in 1999. Prior to his retirement in 1977, he was a brick layer and cement finisher. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, Bristol, Conn. He loved planting and growing flowers, and continued his masonry as a hobby with small jobs. He is survived by three daughters, Charlene Zukowski and her husband, Edward, of Terryville, Conn., Patricia McGlugritch and her husband, Braden, of Moore, Okla., Claire Kennedy of Bristol, Conn.; two brothers, Harry Kennedy of Melbourne, Fla., Lloyd Kennedy of Lady Lake, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gracie Jane. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, Conn. Burial will be in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol, Conn. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
