WASHBURN – Wilma A. Corey, 77, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou. She was born Nov. 21, 1926, at Washburn, the daughter of Clyde and Mary (McDuff) Perkins. Wilma worked at Potato Service, Inc. in Presque Isle for many years. She was a member of the Dunntown Advent Christian Church in Wade. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Debbie Corey of Washburn; a brother, Milton Marr of Washburn; two sisters, Joyce McGetrick and her husband, Phil, of Jordan, N.Y., Edna Graves of Washburn; three grandchildren, Michele Scott and her husband, Shawn, of Milford, Cari Fitzherbert and her husband, Chuck, of Mars Hill, and Brad Corey of Caribou; three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Denver, and Malachi; two special aunts, Elsie Clayton and Marg Campbell of Washburn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elden Corey, in 1995; her mother, Mary Marr, in 1985; and a son, Rickey, in 2002. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Relatives and friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in Riverside Ext. Cemetery, Washburn.
