WINTERPORT – Wilmer Warren Watson, 60, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 23, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1943, in Washington, D.C., the son of Joshua N. and Evelyn (Stewart) Watson. Wilmer was an oil burner technician for several area oil companies most recently for Irving Oil Co. He loved his pets, and enjoyed visiting with his special friends at Sid Harvey’s, doing crossword puzzles and watching movies. Wilmer was a former member of the Brewer Kiwanis Club and was a past vice-president of the club. He had also been a Little League coach in Orrington. Wilmer leaves a legacy of being a devoted and loving father who always put his children first and did everything for others. He is survived by his wife, Cherie A. (Bolster) Watson of Holden; his special and beloved daughter, Holly B. Lundquist and her husband, Dana, of Winterport; a son, Warren Robert Watson and his fianc?e, Tabitha Taylor, of Etna; sister, Darlene Dillard and her husband, Charles, of Lusby, Md.; three grandchildren, Blaine Mitchell Tate, Glenn Travis Watson and Deanna Taylor Watson; one aunt, Elvira Stewart of Sterling, Va.; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Evangelist Almon Emerson of the Community of Christ Church officiating.
