INDIAN TOWNSHIP – Windy J. Lank, 33, died unexpectedly Jan. 6, 2005, as the result of an automobile accident in Princeton. She was born in Calais, Feb. 1, 1971, the daughter of Elmer and Seraphine (Stevens) Lank Bassett. Windy was predeceased by her father, Elmer Lank. Surviving are her mother, Seraphine Bassett of Indian Township; four children, Brian McLaughlin of Princeton, Tonisha, Katelynn, and Jordan McLaughlin, all of Indian Township; four sisters, Mindy Lank and Linda Lola, both of Indian Township, Martha Lank of New York, Dawn Fitch of Machias. Friends are invited to call at her mother’s home on Route 1, Indian Township, Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday Jan. 10, at St. Anne’s Indian Mission, Peter Dana Point, with the Rev. Frank Morin celebrant. Burial will be in the Tribal Cemetery, Peter Dana Point. Arrangements are by the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais.
