DEBLOIS – Yvonne M. Torrey, 56, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at her home in Deblois. She was born July 2, 1948, in Big Cove, New Brunswick, the daughter of Peter and Christine (Clement) Augustine. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 19 years, Wendell E. Torrey of Deblois; four children, Darlene Augustine of Lynn, Mass., Mary Agnes Polchies and her husband, Wilson, Timmy Peter Paul, and Tommy Peter Paul, all of Big Cove, First Nation, N.B.; two stepdaughters, Wendy Simard and her husband, Jeff, of Cherryfield, and Lisa Hanscom of Roque’s Bluff; a sister-in-law, Virginia Torrey; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; five brothers, Frank Augustine, Raymond Augustine, Peter Augustine, Edward Augustine, and Noel Augustine; one sister, Colleen Augustine; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at the Deblois Cemetery, Route 193, Deblois, with the Rev. Ambrose Rolfe officiating. Gifts in memory of Yvonne may be sent to help defray the cost of the funeral expenses to Wendell Torrey, HCR Box 1020, Deblois, ME 04622.
