RACHEL M. COUTURIER

RACHEL M. COUTURIER – MARS HILL – Rachel M. Coutuier, 75, died Sept. 28, 2008, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born July 7, 1933, in Eaton, the daughter of Maurice and Pearl (Kinney) Gray. She was a graduate of Danforth High School and Zion Bible Institute of East Providence, R.I. She ministered in several churches in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Brunswick, Canada. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joseph “Edward” Couturier of Mars Hill; and one daughter Lila Lou Couturier of Long Island, N.Y.; four brothers, James B. Gray of Medway and Eaton, Paul L. Gray of Eaton, Benjamin M. Gray of Naples, Fla., and Sidney F. Gray of Eaton; and two sisters, Mavis E. Turner and Diane M. Davis, both of Medway. She was predeceased by a half brother, Cecil Grey of Southington, Conn. Friends and family may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Zion Pentecostal Church, Mattawamkeag, with her nephew, the Rev. Tyler Davis officiating.
