LINDA M. BEATTY

BUCKSPORT and SENIOA, Ga. – Linda M. Beatty, 60, passed away Oct. 1, 2008, at a Georgia hospital after a long illness. She was born March 4, 1948, the youngest daughter of Guy and Regina (Vaillancourt) Violette of Bucksport. Linda graduated from Bucksport High School, and worked in the nursing field in Connecticut and Georgia. She loved children and caring for them. She will be remembered for her love of life, fun, laughter and compassion. She is survived by her husband, John Beatty of Senioa, Ga.; two sons, Campbell Vogel Violette and Michael Vogel of Castine; two stepsons and six grandchildren of Georgia; three brothers, Levi and wife, Donna, of East Orland, Guy and partner, Gary, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Larry and partner, Angela, of Sullivan; three sisters, Jean and husband, Phil Melcher, of Lake Worth, Fla., Arlene and husband, Richard Bennett, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Joyce and husband, David Clement, of Iron Mountain, Mich.; many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents. Family and friends may attend a celebration of life 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at Carl J. Mowell and Sons Funeral Home, 200 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
