CORINNA – Hilda L. Rouff, 79, wife of the late Edward Rouff, died Oct. 6, 2008, at her residence, after a long illness. She was born April 16, 1929, in Topsfield, Mass., the daughter of Roy and Edna (Peabody) Ford. She had worked as a caretaker for many people and loved to bake pies or assist them in any way she could. Hilda was well known for helping others less fortunate than herself. She is survived by three daughters, Joann McMullin of Corinna, Donna Baird and Jeff of Milton, Fla., and Christine Robertson and Bruce of Mashpee, Mass.; a son, Clifton Rouff and Mako of Smyrna, Ga.; eight very loved grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends that were very loved by Hilda. Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, 30 St. Albans Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield, Mass.
