BELGRADE – James Jeffrey Carey, 27, left us Oct. 7, 2008, as the result of a tragic car accident. He was born Sept. 1, 1981, in Waterville. Jeff worked for Cianbro Corp., Pittsfield, for more than five years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his hands. He enjoyed working on building his own home and horseback riding. His love for family and friends was always evident. Jeff is survived by his wife of two years, Becky, the love of his life. He is also survived by his mom, Karla Carey and stepdad, Sam Bouchard, of Belgrade; his dad, James Carey and stepmother, Stephenie Carey, of Stetson; sisters, Amanda and Brandi Bouchard and Anna Carey; brother, Justin Casey; his grandparents, Carlton and Eleanor Brooks of Belgrade and Harry and Maryann Carey of Levant; aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins who will all miss him; his in-laws, Roger and Cynthia Morneau of Belgrade; and grandfather, William Tukey of Belgrade. Friends are invited to visit 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Wheeler Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Oakland. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Eastgate Apostolic Center, High Street, Oakland. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Belgrade.
