DORIS DUMOND

GRAND ISLE – Doris Dumond, 82, passed away Oct. 26, 2008, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Grand Isle, daughter of Joseph and LezzyAnne (Dufour) Levesque. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilson Dumond; her son, Joseph Dumond; and three siblings, Roger Levesque, Harold Levesque and Norma Morneault. Doris is survived by two sons, Wilson G. Dumond and his wife, Ruth, (Tardif) of El Paso, Texas, and Carl Dumond of Grand Isle; one daughter, Jeannine Cowie and her husband, Michael, of Madawaska; one daughter-in-law, Yvanna (Caron) Dumond of Beverly, Mass.; four sisters, Rejeanne Soucy of Connecticut, Daloras Broadwell of Massachusetts, Jeannine Lajoie of Florida and Mildred Raymond of Madawaska; two brothers, Roland Levesque of Madawaska and Lucien Levesque of Connecticut; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home, Madawaska.
