INTERLOCK, Fla. – Darlene McLaughlin Andersen, 50, a former resident of Maine, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, due to complications from diabetes, in Gainesville, Fla. Darlene was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Portland, the daughter of Clayton and Nathalie McLaughlin. She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Lynn Andersen; son, Jeremy Croman; mother, Nathalie McLaughlin; grandmother, Sadie McLaughlin; sisters, Earlene Barger and her husband, Ken, Ann Parsons and her husband, Dave, and Patty Wilson and her husband, Dallas; brothers, Brian McLaughlin and his fiance, Martine, and Skip McLaughlin and his wife, Sandy; sister-in-law, Anna Davis and brother-in-law, Raymond Andersen. She was predeceased by her father, Clayton McLaughlin; and her mother-in-law, Alice Andersen. Private funeral services will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
