SURRY – Francis R. Carlson, 72, died unexpectedly Oct. 30, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Punxsutawney, Pa., the son of Frank and Jane (Henderson) Carlson. He served his country honorably, first in the U.S. Army and then retired from the U.S. Air Force. Frank then served as bailiff for Hancock County District Court for another 10 years. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, son and cats. At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
