EAST BOOTHBAY and BANGOR – Grace A. (Thelen) Pitcher, 83, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at her home in Bangor. She was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Paterson, N.J. Grace graduated from Tuxedo (N.Y.) High School in 1942. For more than 30 years Grace was the secretary treasurer for Pitcher’s Office Equipment, Midland Park, N.J., retiring in 1987. Surviving are her children, Molly Pitcher Harrison and her husband, Dean Harrison, of Ellsworth and Michael Pitcher and his wife, Judith, of Midland Park, N.J.; two grandsons, Todd Pitcher and Max Pitcher and his wife, Nadine; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Alex Pitcher. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Pitcher in 1987. A funeral Mass was held Oct. 31 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Franklin Lakes, N.J. Interment was at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, N.J. There will be a service in Boothbay Harbor sometime in the future.
