BANGOR – Lillian N. DeSanto, 88, wife of Henry A. DeSanto, passed away peacefully Nov. 4, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry; daughter, Lilian; son-in-law, Bill Mahan; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Adele, Jennie and Angelina. The family thanks the staffs at Premier Healthcare, Ross Manor and New Hope Hospice for the love and care given to Lillian during her time with them. Services will be private. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Memorial contributions may be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
