CALAIS – Madeline Haley, 86, died Nov. 3, 2008, at Atlantic Rehab, Calais. She was born June 22, 1922, in Baileyville, daughter of William and Stella (Brown) Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland United Methodist Church. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Haley; brother, Paul; twin brothers, William and Walter; and sister, Annie Knox. Survivors include her children, Anne Liso of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Barbara Haley of Calais and Jerry Haley of Jupiter, Fla.; brother, Jon Turner and wife, Shirley, of Eddington; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Joline Nadeau. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visiting hours. Those who wish may make donations in Madeline’s memory to a charity of your choice.
