CARIBOU – Jeffery A. Belanger, 33, died unexpectedly Nov. 18, 2008, in Bristol, Conn. He was born March 28, 1975, in Caribou, son of Eugene and Inez (Hawthorne) Belanger. He was a graduate of Caribou High School, Class of 1994, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and was also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, receiving a degree in sign language. Jeff was a teacher at American School for the Deaf, Hartford, Conn. He is survived by his mother, Inez of Caribou; two brothers, Roland Belanger and his wife, Ricketta, of Caribou, and Paul Belanger and his wife, Marianne, of Connor; two sisters, Gail Donovan and her husband, Wayne, of Woodland, and Ann Plourde and her husband, Mark, of Caribou; nine nieces, three nephews, five great-nieces, three great-nephews; and his five furry companions, his dog, Snoopy, and cats, Reva, Dusty, Luke and Casie. He was predeceased by his father, Eugene, March 23, 2002; a nephew, Daniel Miller, March 6, 1987; and a nephew, Michael Donovan, July 19, 2008. Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of funeral services Monday, Nov. 24, at Solid Rock Worship Center, Caribou, where services will be held 1 p.m. with Pastor Myron Powell and Pastor David Sutherland co-officiating.
