FRANKFORT – Jeffrey Scott Goodwin, 50, died Nov. 20, 2008, in a vehicle accident. He was born Nov. 26, 1957, in Bangor, the son of Erland and Carlene (Merrill) Goodwin. Jeffrey attended Frankfort and Lee schools. He was mechanical and enjoyed working on cars and trucks. Jeffrey was a man with a big heart. He was the kind of person who would give a hand to help anyone who needed help and never asked for repayment. He loved his family unconditionally and will be sadly missed by them and his many friends. Jeffrey is survived by his three sons, Mathew and Adam of Mattawamkeag and Aaron of Winn; two brothers, Edwin and his wife, Betty, of Lincoln and Erland “Freddie” of Lee; five sisters, Sharon and her husband, Richard, of Eddington, Elaine and her husband, Don, of Lincoln, Janet and her husband, Carleton, of Benidicta, Carol Anne of Hampden and Erlene of Lee; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, James and Terry Wayne; and a sister-in-law, Terry. Friends and family are welcome to come to the graveside service 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Silver Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Swan, of Springfield Community Chapel, officiating. After the service, all are invited to the home of his niece, Adele Altvator, Sewall Street, Island Falls. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
