HODGDON – Lewis E. Quint, “Louie,” 71, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 21, 2008. He was born June 15, 1937, in Hodgdon, the son of Shirley and Madlyn (Shannon) Quint. Louie was a farmer for 20 years, and owned and operated a small construction business. He enjoyed going to camp, fishing, hunting, moose calling, snow sledding, four-wheeling, trapping and spending time with his nine grandchildren, his great-grandson and great-granddaughter. He served six years on the Hodgdon Town Council, was instrumental in restoring the old monuments of the town’s cemetery and painting the bridge; his many hours volunteered for the town emulated his great pride for the town of Hodgdon. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Lucia (Glidden) Quint of Hodgdon; his children, Tammy and her husband, Larry Boulier, Lenny and his wife, Dedra, all of Hodgdon, Lisa and her husband, Lee Brawn, of Brunswick and Joel and his friend, Maggie, of Hodgdon; nine grandchildren, Mike, Nick, Chad, Shane, Ashley, Casey, Jamie, DJ and Mackenzie; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Brooklyn; two brothers, Terry and his wife, Bonnie, and Bobby and his wife, Noreen, all of Hodgdon; and his daughter-in-law, Lynn Quint. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at New Limerick Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hodgdon Cemetery.
