BANGOR – Catherine T. O’Loughlin, 72, died peacefully Nov. 25, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Bangor, daughter of Norman Joseph and Catherine Theola (Lynch) Duren. Catherine grew up on Parkview Avenue and graduated from John Bapst, Class of 1953 and attended Husson College. She resided in Bangor most of her life and had been employed as a secretary at the Bangor House, a driver education instructor and a personal care attendant. She was an avid reader and enjoyed birdwatching. Surviving are three sons, Joe, Daniel and Mike, all of Bangor; two grandchildren, Kerry and Joe; three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Katherine and Bryson; two brothers, Norman Duren of Glenburn and Mike Duren of Allston, Mass.; two nephews and two great-nephews.
