DEXTER – James R. Bullock Jr., 65, died Nov. 26, 2008, at his home. He was born June 27, 1943, in Indianapolis, son of James and Zelda (Klouse) Bullock Sr. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam, retiring as captain. After the service he worked at several jobs, retiring as a business manager. He was on the St. Albans Fire Department for 12 years. He also served as selectman in St. Albans for many years and was on the Hartland Ambulance Service board of directors. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Chase) Bullock of Dexter; five daughters, Judy Lozzi and her husband, Jim, of New Hampshire, Debbie Ostrosky of Eliot, Betty Cook and her husband, Dennis, of Georgia, Sandy Stevens of Sanford and Violet Hanson of Warren; a son, Chuck Davis and his wife, Nicole, of Corinth; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Bill Bullock of Florida; nieces and nephews; and his dearest friend, Art Tyler and his wife, Nancy, of St. Albans. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
