CORINNA – Luella A. Robinson, 78, died Dec. 1, 2008, at her daughter, Robin’s, Carmel residence. She was born May 30, 1930, in Corinna, a daughter of Ralph and Marjorie (Bryant) Drew. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and enjoyed gardening, dancing and watching the hummingbirds. She worked in several area shoe shops, retiring from Dexter Shoe Co., in the early 1990s. Luella is survived by seven children, Neal Bryson of Pittsfield, Edward Bryson of Exeter, N.H., Michael Bryson of Pittsfield, Dolly Bryson of Bangor, Larry Bryson of Levant, Lewis Bryson Jr. of Madison and Robin and husband, Michael Hunt, of Carmel. She is loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lewis Bryson Sr.; her second husband, Raymond Robinson; sisters, Drusilla Ordway and Louise Shaw; and brothers, Carroll, Dale and Bryant Drew. Her family thanks all the nurses at St. Joseph Home Health Care. A graveside committal and funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Corinna Center Cemetery with Pastor Michael Troyer officiating. Family visitation will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
