BREWER – Corinne M. Karst, 49, wife of Kerry W. Karst, died unexpectedly, Dec. 5, 2008, at her home. She was born June 25, 1959, in Bangor, the daughter of Merle F. and Florence A. (Betts) Hutchins. Corinne was a 1977 graduate of Brewer High School and Maine State Academy of Hair Design. She worked for several years for Penobscot County Court system and worked for more than 20 years as a beautician. She also was an instructor at Pierre Beauty School. Corinne loved animals, especially her cats. Surviving in addition to her husband of 11 years of Brewer and her father, also of Brewer, are one brother, Michael F. Hutchins of Brewer; a niece and nephew, Jennifer and Joseph Hutchins, both of Brewer; an aunt, Mary (Butera) Marsh of Bangor; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her mother in 2001. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer, where a service honoring her life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, with the Rev.
