BUCKSPORT – Cheryl R. Mills, 60, wife of Dean F. Mills, died Dec. 11, 2008, surrounded by her family at home. She was born in 1948, in Coatesville, Pa., the daughter of C. Norman and Dorothy (Woodward) Rissel. Cheryl attended school in Pennsylvania and was a graduate of West Chester University, West Chester, Pa. She worked as a schoolteacher at Coatesville Elementary School, Coatesville, Pa., and a medical assistant in Cincinnati. She was also a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor. Surviving in addition to her husband of Bucksport and her parents of Bangor, are one son, Adam J. Mills of Houston; two grandchildren, Gavin D. and Douglas J. Mills, both of Houston; two brothers, Jeffrey Rissel of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Todd Rissel of New Canaan, Conn.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
