CAPE NEDDICK – Galen A. Millett, 70, died Dec. 10, 2008, after a battle with cancer in York. He was born April 12, 1938, in Dexter, the son of Hollis and Hilda Millett. He was employed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a test planner for most of his career. Galen was a loving father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his brother, Duane Millett; his daughter, Patricia M. Parker; his granddaughter, Sara M. Parker; and his grandson, Samuel B. St. Pierre. He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Marquis of Durham and Lisa St. Pierre of Amelia, Ohio, and their families; his ex-wife, Judith Millett of Kittery; and his sister, Sha-ron Mountain, and her family, of Dexter. He will be dearly missed.
