At Mars Hill, Josh Booth and Austin Dufour each scored 13 points and Matt Cresenzo added 10 to lead the Tigers over the Panthers Manny Martinez scored a game high 14 points and Garrett Stiles added 10 for Central Aroostook

Rockland 75, Lincoln Acad. 50

At Rockland, Teel Ilvonen had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Rockland past Lincoln Academy of Newcastle. Dylan Meklin added 14 points for the Tigers. Tyler Patterson scored 10 points while Chris Nolan totaled 10 assists and nine points. Pat Mullen scored 17 points to lead the Eagles. Matt Poole had 10 points.

MDI 63, Bucksport 41

At Bucksport, the Trojans built a 20-point halftime lead that held up for a victory. Nolan Hall and Terrence Jones tossed in 10 points each to lead Mount Desert Island. Dom Kone scored 11 points to pace Bucksport.

Brewer 57, Bangor 35

At Bangor, Billy Bissell scored 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots as the Witches remained unbeaten. Coby Hutchins added 11 points for 4-0 Brewer, ,while Dom Drake had eight points and eight rebounds and Kyle O’Connell had seven points and seven assists. Ryan Larochelle led 1-3 Bangor with six points. Bangor led 13-5 after the first quarter, but Brewer’s pressure defense forced 10 turnovers during the second period, and the Witches outscored the Rams 16-4 to take a 21-17 halftime lead. Brewer extended its lead to as much as 34-20 on a short jumper by Drake with 1:05 left in the third quarter, but Larochelle hit a follow-up jumper and Nate Frazier hit a 3-pointer to ignite a 7-0 run that pulled Bangor back within 34-27 early in the fourth period. Ray Bessette briefly quelled Bangor’s mo-mentum with a 3-pointer, but Bangor used a follow-up shot by Cal Winchester and two free throws by Zach Blodgett to creep within 37-31 with 6:11 left. Brewer called time, and came out of the break with 16 unanswered points to put the game away. Drake hit two free throws and O’Connell scored on a baseline drive before Bissell added a baseline floater to give coach Clayton Blood’s club a 45-31 lead. After O’Connell and Drake each hit a free throw, Hutchins hit a jumper and Tyler Bessette made two free throws and a layup as Brewer extended the margin to 53-31 with two minutes to play.

Hodgdon 60, Washburn 49

At Hodgdon, Hodgdon outscored Washburn 19-4 in the second quarter to pull away and claim the win. Chris Williams had 21 points and five steals to pace the Hawks. Dan McGillicuddy had 14 points and 10 rebounds and his twin brother Andrew added 10 points. P.J. Lycette recorded 10 rebounds, six of which came in the second quarter. Nick McIntosh led Washburn with 22 points. Connor Fitzpatrick scored 12 points.

Narraguagus 72, Machias 47

At Harrington, Blake Chase scored 22 points to lead the Narraguagus Knights past the visiting Bull-dogs. Drew Ramsay had 10 points for the Knights. Ty Richardson scored 15 to pace Machias.

DI-S 57, Calvary Chapel 25

At Deer Isle, Jay Boyce led a balanced scoring effort as his Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners knocked off Calvary Chapel. Eben Powers had 12 points, 10 rebounds and six steals for the Mariners. Joe Carter scored 11 points. Luke Martin led the way with seven points for the Sabers of Orrington.

MCI 42, Belfast 39

At Pittsfield, Jacob Hunt scored 14 points and his Maine Central Institute Huskies held on to beat Bel-fast. Craig Reazor scored 10 for the Huskies. Jim Davis led the Lions with 13 points.

Woodland 89, Jonesport-Beals 68

At Woodland, Ben Sears totaled 26 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to push Woodland past Jonesport-Beals. Cory Rolfe scored 21 points for the Dragons. Chad James had 13 points, Aaron St. Pierre scored 12 points and Ed Flaherty added 10 points. Woodland scored a season-high 31 points in the third quarter. Andrew Beal paced the Royals with 15 points. Harry Beal scored 11 points while Tyler Turcotte and Zach Fenton scored 10 points apiece.

Foxcroft 56, Dexter 29

At Dexter, Josiah Richard scored 16 points as Foxcroft Academy defeated Dexter. Ryan Stroud scored 11 points for the Ponies and James Johnson chipped in 10 points. Kyle Gould had 10 points to lead the Tigers.

Washington Acad. 82, Sumner 69

At East Sullivan, Noah Von Rotz scored 25 points as the Raiders of East Machias earned their second victory of the season. Ben Teer added 19 points, including three 3-pointers, for Washington Academy, while Bryce Colbeth scored 15 points and Matt Smith had 10. Chris Weaver scored a career-high 25 points for Sumner, while Woody Huber scored 17 and Dan Leighton and Tommy Bell each scored 10.

Greenville 53, Averill 52

At Hinckley, Tony DiAngelo and Joe Gilbert each scored 12 points to lead Greenville past Averill. Zach Morse led Averill with 16 points. Ben Pearson scored 13 points and Josh Deschaine added 10 points. Averill hit a three-pointer with seven seconds left in regulation to bring the Beavers within a point.

Camden Hills 57, Medomak Val. 34

At Waldoboro, Camden Hills of Rockport limited the host Panthers to 13 first-half points while rolling to victory in this early season battle of unbeatens. Sophomore guard Graham Safford led the Windjammers with 16 points, while senior center Gordon Fischer added 14. Alex MacKenzie paced Medomak Valley with 10 points.

Old Town 64, Central 40

At Old Town, the Indians outscored the Red Devils 19-3 in the second quarter to pull away. Zak Kochis scored eight of his 14 points in the second quarter and Cody Smart posted 14 points for Old Town. Luke Bartlett tallied 10 points and Josh Boucher logged a game-best eight rebounds with six as-sists to go with seven points. Matt St. Peter and Joey Brown tossed in 12 points each to lead Central of Corinth.

Greenville 58, Averill 18

At Hinckley, Gretel Breton scored 23 points as Greenville defeated Averill. Saige Weeks had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Lakers. Dorothy Leighton led Averill with 13 points.

DI-Stonington. 54, Calvary Chapel 35

At Deer Isle, Audra Eaton scored 11 of her 17 points in the third quarter to help Deer Isle-Stonington pull away from Calvary Chapel of Orrington. The Mariners out scored the Sabers 23-2 in the third. Holly Brewer scored 14 points, 12 in the first quarter, for DI-Stonington. Hope Johnson paced Calvary Chapel with 15 points.

Medomak 64, Camden Hills 34

At Waldoboro, Lacy Massengale scored 14 points as Medomak Valley beat Camden Hills of Rockport. Lindsay Ranquist scored 12 points for the Panthers and Danielle Dyer adder 10 points. Lauren Jeschke led Camden Hills with 10 points.

Woodland 58, Jonesport-Beals 28

At Woodland, Ariel Knights totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds to lift Woodland over Jonesport-Beals. Ashley Laking had 10 points for the Dragons. BreAnna Beal led the Royalettes with 12 points.

Presque Isle 39, Caribou 31

At Presque Isle, the Wildcats turned up the defensive intensity, forcing several turnovers while out-scoring the Vikings 22-8 in the fourth quarter to remain undefeated. Kayla Legassie scored 11 of her game-high 13 points in the pivotal fourth quarter for Presque Isle. Sarah Porter finished with 11 points. Jenna Selander paced Caribou with 11 points.

Brewer 48, Bangor 35

At Brewer, senior forward Sheri Valley poured in a game-high 18 points and hauled down eight re-bounds as Brewer used a 25-38 effort from the free throw line to knock off archrival Bangor. Valley and classmate Leah Jackson were instrumental to that effort, as Valley was 5-6 from the line and Jackson 10-17 for the Witches, who improve to 3-1. Brewer led by as many as 16 in the second half, and patient Witches did a solid job of attacking Bangor’s 1-3-1 zone over the course of the contest. Meghan McLain chipped in with nine points for Brewer, including a deep 3-pointer to beat the second-quarter buzzer. Jordan Nickerson also scored nine. Megan Doucette scored 16 points for Bangor.

LCS/MSSM 54, Easton 21

At Easton, Kellie Peters and Stacy Bernier scored 13 points apiece as Limestone/Maine School of Sci-ence and Mathematics defeated Easton. Sarah Plourde led Easton with eight points.

Fort Kent 80, Madawaska 47

At Madawaska, Emily Pelletier drained 10 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 33 points as the War-riors handled the Owls. Taylor Boucher scored 20 points and Jamie Pelletier tallied 10 for Fort Kent. Kallie Pelletier led Madawaska with 13 points, while Danielle Gendreau posted 10.

Mattanawcook 64, Hermon 46

At Lincoln, Renee Libbey scored eight of her 13 points in the third quarter as Mattanawcook Academy outscored Hermon 18-10 to pull away. Katelyn DeRaps scored 24 points to pace the Lynx. Brooke Han-scom added nine points and 10 steals. Katie Durgin scored 13 points for Hermon and Victoria Davenport chipped in 11 points.

Calais 81, Lubec 57

At Lubec, Nicole Osborn scored 32 points and led the Calais Blue Devils by Lubec. Shannon Brown scored 11 and Kelly Cross added 10 for the Blue Devils. Amanda Huntley led the Hornets with 19 points. Shelby Searles had 18 and Krista Wright added 11.

Belfast 51, MCI 25

At Belfast, Brittany Dyer scored 17 points to help lift Belfast over Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield. Whitney Glencross had 11 points for the Lions and Ade Hills scored 10 points. Danielle Littlefield chipped in seven points. Tiffany McLaggan led the Huskies with 11 points.

Waterville 59, Mount View 34

At Thorndike, Jen Nale scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Waterville Purple Panthers past the Mustangs. Morgan Frame added 16 points for the Panthers. Dakota McAdam scored 12 for the Mount View Mustangs.

At Standish, Elbie Murphy scored 15 points as the Monks placed four players in double figures to edge the Bobcats. Chris Petzy added 14 for the Monks, and Ray Eatmon and Tyler Kelley added 10 each. Chris Wilson of Brewer led the Bobcats of Lewiston with 14 points, Sean Wirth posted 11 points and 11 re-bounds and Scott Place had 10 points.

At Standish, Val Beckwith scored 15 points and had seven rebounds as Bates College of Lewiston beat Saint Joseph’s College. Lauren Yanofsky added 13 points, four assists and three steals for Bates. Kelsey Flaherty scored 11 points and Kirsten Finn added 10 points. Carolyn Freeman and Meghan Daigle scored 17 points apiece for Saint Joseph’s.
