LUBEC – Kris Fergerson, 28, went to be with the Lord Dec. 11, 2008. He was born March 23, 1980, the son of Donna Fergerson of Bangor and Kenneth Sands of Bangor. The greatest gift for Kris was his son, Joedan Fergerson. Joedan was Kris’ second skin, as they spent numerous hours together doing special things. He will also leave behind his older brother, Michael Fergerson of Lubec; his twin brother, Kenny and girlfriend, Mary Kay Collins, of Portland; his mother’s boyfriend, Willie Johnson of Bangor; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Stella Porter of Lubec; paternal grandmother, Gloria Sands of Bangor; uncles, Peter and Dewayne Porter, both of Stonington; an aunt, Tamara Green of Orono and their families; a special aunt, Mary Stewart and cousin, Amanda Newman, of Lubec; and best friends, Adam Moores of Portland and David Savage of Bangor. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Woody Sands of Bangor; a cousin B.R. Fergerson; other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he greatly loved. Services of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Christian Temple Church, Lubec, with Pastor Gary Look officiating.
