FRANKFORT – Everett L. McIntire, 62, died Dec. 25, 2008, surrounded by his loving family, at his residence. He was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Prospect, the son of Carlten and Martha (Cummings) McIntire. He graduated from Winterport High School in 1964 and enlisted in the Army Reserves, until he retired in 1986. Everett married Beverly Smith, in 1968, and they made their home in Frankfort where they lived for 40 years of marriage, bringing three wonderful children into their lives. He was baptized in September 1994 as a Jehovah’s Witness. He enjoyed camping, fishing and mowing the lawn, and will be remembered as a family man. Everett spent much of his free time with his family. He loved his grandchildren and raised his grandson, Chad. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Everett C. McIntire; two brothers and a sister. Everett is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly McIntire of Frankfort; his children, Cindy Farrington and husband, Toby, of Monroe, Valerie Stupfer and husband, Matthew, of Frankfort, and Chad McIntire and wife, Courtney, of Blue Hill; brother, Derwood McIntire and wife, Lois, of Northport; grandchildren, Erika, Jonathan, Miranda, Alyssa, Tristan and Madison; longtime laughing buddies, Elenor and Jo-Anne; a very special nephew, Skip and his wife, Sandy; and his puppy, Scooter. Special thanks to Dr. Openshaw and his staff, and Dr. Biswas and Mary Ellen Pedersen with hospice. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Kingdom Hall, North Searsport Road, Frankfort.
